A new ‘zip line’ is coming to Canada this summer

Here’s something to add to the summer bucket list! A brand new zipline roller coaster, the first of its kind in North America, is coming to a resort right here in Canada. If you think a trip to Quebec is planned this summer, then keep reading.

The new zipline roller coaster is the latest attraction at Mont Sutton, an all-season resort located in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. The coaster arrives just a year after the introduction of a mile-long mountain coaster, doubling the thrills to experience during your visit.

So what does Canada’s first zipline roller coaster actually mean? As you probably guessed, it’s a combo between the two activities. Buckle up and let yourself be carried away on some 700 meters of track, enjoying a series of descents, turns and loops up to 450 degrees. Mont Sutton describes the experience as “feeling like a bird of prey”, which we can certainly follow. Ca-cao!!

The dropship is expected to open later this summer, with a tentative date set for mid-July. The easiest way to stay up to date? Subscribe to the Mont Sutton newsletter, this is how they will officially announce its opening.
