Two months before the official Battlefield 2042 release date and somehow there are already hacks and cheats for the new game for sale.
Cheaters and hackers are one of the biggest issues facing online FPS games today. Just ask anyone who plays Warzone or Apex Legends enough, and they’ll likely confirm that idea.
However, there seemed to be some respite on the horizon in Battlefield 2042.
As a new game, gamers expected at least a few weeks or months without the pirates going wild… right?
Battlefield 2042 hacks and cheats already on sale
Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you. Two full months before the match 22 October 2021 release date and there already appears to be a site selling various tips to those willing to pay.
Dexerto does not encourage cheating in any form, so we will not share the name of the site selling the cheats. That being said, various hacks are already on sale and should work during the next open beta slated for early September.
There’s your classic aimbot cheat, plus the cheat radar and ESP wallhacks to complete the set. Even if you’ve never used hacks before, there’s a good chance you’ve seen snippets of them or even encountered them.
What is really disheartening is that the site advertises its cheaters as “undetected”. This means that they cannot be caught by the Battlefield Anti-Cheat when testing.
Will Battlefield 2042 have a hacking issue from the start?
It’s impossible to say whether or not the new Battlefield will be cheated from the start or not.
It is certainly not a good sign that cheaters are already selling their products. But, as we mentioned, there are two full months left at the time of writing before launch.
DICE and EA could use the time of the open beta to beef up Battlefield 2042’s anti-cheat to better detect hacks before launch. Only time will tell if this happens or if we are inundated with enemies of suspicious accuracy on day one.
