The holiday season is just around the corner, so luckily we’ve got some Star Trek goodness to watch for yourself or your loved ones.

Merchandise; the thing that separates your casual fans from your more diehard fanatics. Anyone can watch Star Trek, but a true fan will watch Star Trek while making sure each of their Star Trek figurines are properly dusted and adorn their wall.

Being able to collect is one of the best parts of being a Trek fan, or a fan of pop culture in general. It’s something that can stimulate the mind and give you a sense of wonder as you search for the items you think are missing from your collection.

They are also perfect as gifts for children. Especially some of the things we’re going to talk about now. Here are four items you should keep an eye out for as the holiday season approaches.

We have already talked about this article, but now we have more information about it. It is designed to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation and will come with two items, the Starfleet Type 2 and Type 3 phasers. The Type 3 (the rifle) will also have light and sound effects with a sound of authentic movie. It will take four AA batteries and these are not included.

As for projectiles, the Type 3 will fire five darts in a row, while the Type 2 will fire one at a time and will need to be reloaded after firing. Both toys come with only seven Total Darks, so be careful.

Playmobil Star Trek: III Klingon Bird of Prey – $299.99

Playmobil brings Commander Kruge and his Klingon Bird of Prey into the world of Star Trek fans. While the toy is a hefty price tag at nearly $300, the ship is based on the Bird-of-Prey used in the third Star Trek movie; Spock’s research. It also comes with several characters, including Commander Kruge, his crew, Admiral Kirk, and Spock. The playset also comes with the Klingon symbol that doubles as Planet Genesis as it is dying.

Fans who want to put the reality of Strange New Worlds at their feet have oddly specific desires and the chance to do so. Starfleet boots made by John Fluevog are back in stock on the Fluevog website. They’re long, sleek, and a little pricey, but fans may be willing to pay that price if they’re really serious about getting the right shoes Starfleet needs.

Star Trek Prodigy: SuperNova Gameplay Footage
