The Fredonia Hillbillies softball team won the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West title this spring.
With a strong regular season, the Hillbillies won numerous playoff accolades, including four girls named first-team All-Stars, and coaches Jesse Beers and Tim Wright earned Coach of the Year honors.
Fredonia seniors Lila Cameron and Erin Schrantz were joined by junior Gaby Matos and second Jordan Lucas in the first team.
Like Fredonia, Falconer had four first-team girls in seniors Ashton Beckerink, Emily Melquist and Tess Spangenburg, and junior Kayla Lynn.
Second-placed Olean cleaned up with seniors JoJo Gibbons as player of the year and Kiley Anastasia as first-team pitcher of the year. Joining them was senior Makenna Pancio and rookie Emma Edwards.

As well as winning the Team Sportsmanship Award, Dunkirk senior Ja Maladie Pacheco and junior Courtney Zatorski made the first team.
Jamestown junior Kylie O’Brien also made the first team.
Rounding out the first team is South West senior Alli Durnell.
