Watch: TJ Watt reacts to Minkah Fitzpatrick’s record deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers made Minkah Fitzpatrick the highest-paid safety of all time on Wednesday.

Since joining Burgh in 2019, he’s been a two-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro and has become one of football’s top DBs.

Fitzpatrick’s record deal will net $18.4 million per season over the next four years. And after the news broke, teammate and Defensive Player of the Year TJ Watt shouted at the ball-peddling FS.

“Won !!!” he tweeted.

Steelers fans were in tune with Watt. Expressing similar sentiments on Twitter.


“Deserved indeed!” replied another.

“Every penny earned,” said another.

“Big fat W.”

Minkah Fitzpatrick has only missed one game since her freshman year.

And over the past three seasons, he’s compiled 11 interceptions, 203 tackles, four fumble recoveries and a pair of touchdowns off the back of the Steelers defense.
